Do to a recording error on Schriber’s birth certificate, the US Army entered his name into their records as Donald W. Schriber. Years were spent trying to find information on him with no success until the document was discovered regarding his medal collection.

This is my grandfather. He was a wonderful man, extremely intelligent. He loved his family and was a wonderful grandfather. He is missed greatly.
