The Pilots

There have been 134 officers identified as pilots who flew with the 367th Fighter Squadron.  Most of them are listed in the squadron roster beginning on page 188 of the published war diary for the 358th Fighter Group titled “Orange Tails”.  A copy of that book has been uploaded to the reading section of this web site.  Other pilots have been “discovered” within the thousands of pages of the official group and squadron files, postwar reunion mailing lists, some have come to light from memories and even pure luck.  There could be a few more out there that have not been associated with this squadron.  If you know of one or more of those pilots, please contact me so they can be added to this page’s roster and I can research their story.
